Welcome to Sunday Suppers with Pippa! My name is Pippa and I am a management consultant turned culinary school graduate living in New York City.  Sunday Suppers with Pippa is a blog that chronicles the Sunday night meals that I make for myself and for my family and friends. As a 28 year old living in New York, I have realized that very few people in New York actually cook in their tiny little apartments, preferring instead to eat out at restaurants.  As a food lover, I love to try new restaurants but nothing beats sitting down at the table with friends and family and sharing delicious, homemade food. My husband and I began a tradition when we first moved to New York over 6 years ago of eating in on Sunday nights. Over the years I have dabbled in a variety of cuisines, hoping to satisfy my cravings for pasta, Indian curries, stir fries, lapin a la moutarde, and tortilla soup.  Not every meal has been a success (like the time when the entire contents of my jar of garam masala fell into the chickpea curry), but all have been memorable.  My hope is to share my love of food and cooking with my readers and to inspire people to cook as often as possible.

Favorite Foods:

Eggplant, dark chocolate, apples, fennel, leeks, raspberries, blueberries, Traditional Cornish Pasties, scones with clotted cream, mustard, parmigiano reggiano cheese, treacle pudding, salt cod, crab apple jelly

Least Favorite Foods:

I like everything but horseradish (though I can tolerate that in small doses)
